We were guests in the Gutsschänke on our tour on the Green Belt and felt very comfortable. Special highlights were dinner and breakfast: you can taste that someone cooks here with passion and skill. Extremely delicious!

Unfortunately, you can not give 0 stars. We sat in the beer garden and were not served for about 15 minutes, although on this day was not too busy. Although it appeared 3 times a person in the beer garden in appearance, which probably belonged to the staff. They brought namely to the other tables drinks and cleared away also empty glasses. Even though she had seen us, this person did not say a word to us. 15 minutes later we left. Luckily we entered a restaurant with very good service!

In this way I wanted to thank Mr. Hasenauer for the unforgettable hospitality and overnight stay in his Gutsschänke. On our way with the Klapprad to Berlin we have made a stop there by chance. It was the best decision of our tour. Highly recommended is the large salad plate No.13, the Michelin Star level achieved by presentation, ingredients and flavor and is prepared in memory of his wife. The pictures speak for themselves anyway. The price performance ratio is certainly unmatched. I hope that the Gutsschänke can receive cyclists at this level for many years. Were today the second time been there. Have extra a detour of 80 kilometers for these exceptionally diverse and delicious salad in purchase accepted. A feast for the eyes top-tasty, with exceptional! Diversity and love decorated (picture follows) seeking its peer! (to the comment of a previous speaker :) A freshly prepared meal takes just plain, and cold is not cooked ... In any case, we wish the hosts all the best-if we are close again, we are looking forward to a stop!

It was beautiful in the Gutsschänke. The spit roast was super good and plentiful. Then there was a sundae, the special class was !!!!

YES! 5 - FIVE stars! Why? THEREFORE! : Two of us came with our bikes from the Werra Valley and got a light appetite ... The first point of contact in Herleshausen was a hotel in the middle of the village, which had already closed (it was after 1.30 p.m.), but recommended us (so the employee there - THANK YOU, THANK YOU, THANK YOU to us strangers ...), a so-called Gutsschänke to look for at the exit of town ... Well, when I got there, I thought, oh dear, that's pretty different from ... what ever ... ... and then, having really arrived on site, we went down to the basement ... I couldn't imagine getting anything halfway reasonable THERE ... SO one can be wrong !: Because: If you should leave NOW, you have lost! And indeed (also!) A taste experience. Yes, you can be wrong like this: When we were sitting there unexpectedly comfortably, it appeared a wise-looking, because absolutely calm, elderly gentleman who took our order calmly and full of confidence and confidence and perfectly satisfied us with food and drinks. The dumplings with bacon I ordered were a lot better than I know them from Austria (!!!! ....). When I said that they would taste like home-made, the only answer I got was: "That's them!" ... Many thanks again! The Käsespätzle also knew how to impress with their individual preparation. Pictures are attached.
